Shopping at Westminster Place
The Gift Shop
The Gift Shop is located just off the rotunda at One Calvin Circle. It is like a convenience store for WP residents. Purchases there are charged to your discretionary account. It is operated by Unidine, the people who manage the dining room.
Gift Shop Hours:
Mon. -- Fri. 10:00am to 1:00pm & 2:00 pm to 5:00pm
Saturday 10:am to 3:00pm

Shops of the Woman's Board*
The Woman's Board of Westminster Place operates several shops on the lower level. This includes the Little Store that is similar to the Gift Shop.
The Shops
The shops are located in the lower level, “in the tunnel”, under the Highlands. Those spaces can be confusing and it is difficult to draw a convenient and accurate map. But there are always people walking through these areas and they know we often get lost. If you go over and ask someone for assistance, they will be glad to help.
The shops are operated by members of the Woman’s Board and by volunteers from within and outside of WP. They are open to residents and employees of WP. Prior to COVID, the shops were open to the general public. They are once again open to the public if they sign in as visitors do.
I will try here to offer a general overview of the shops but if you really want to know what is in them, go over and look around. It is the only way to see what is there and you may find it interesting.
The Little Store
The Little Store is like a convenience store in the Highlands, but it is open to everyone. In this sense it is similar to the Gift Shop on One Calvin Circle but the offerings and variety are different. As I said before go over and look around. That is the only way to appreciate the choices that you have. For more information call 2895 during business hours.

The Thrift Shop and Book Nook
The Thrift Shop has clothes and the Book Nook has, guess what, books. For specific information, call 3496 during business hours.
Hours: Monday: 9:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m.
The Depot
The Depot offers a wide variety of donated gently used household items, jewelry, decorative items and assorted “treasures”. For specific information, call 2952 during business hours.
Hours: Mondays and Thursdays: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 am
The Furniture Warehouse and Furniture Annex
The Furniture Warehouse and Furniture Annex offer a constantly changing variety of donated furniture, lamps, and artwork for sale. For specific information, call 2952 during business hours.
Hours: Mondays and Thursdays: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Payments in the Shops
At the Little Store, residents can pay by cash, check or charge their Westminster Place account. (Note: this is not your Discretionary Account that you use for meals. It is your overall WP account. These charges are added to your monthly WP bill.) At the other shops you can pay by cash or check.
